Soma Foama®
Flexible Platinum Silicone Foam

Soma Foama® 15 is a soft, two-component platinum silicone flexible foam that is versatile and easy to use. Mixed 2 Parts A: 1Part B by volume, foam can be poured into a mold or over other surfaces. Pot life (working time) is 50 seconds at room temperature (73°F / 23°C) and handling time is 20 minutes at room temperature and full cure is 1 hour. Foam expands 4 times its original volume and develops a uniform 15 lb./cu. ft. cell structure
(240 kg/m³). Vibrant colors can be achieved by adding Silc-Pig® silicone color pigments.

Smooth-Sil® Series
Addition Cure Silicone Rubber Compounds

Smooth-On Smooth-Sil® Platinum Silicones cure at room temperature with negligible shrinkage. With different hardnesses to
choose from, Smooth-Sil® products offer tremendous versatility and are suitable for making production molds of any configuration,
large or small. These silicones exhibit good chemical, abrasion and heat resistance. Materials such as plasters, concrete, wax, low-melt metal alloys or resins (urethane, epoxy or polyester) can then be cast into these silicone rubbers without a release agent.
Smooth-Sil® Platinum Silicones are used for rapid prototyping, wax casting (foundries and candle makers), architectural restoration and for casting concrete. Sorta Clear® 18
Translucent Silicone Mold Rubber

SORTA-Clear® 18 is a premium water white translucent silicone rubber (platinum catalyst) that cures at room temperature with negligible shrinkage. A softer version of our popular SORTA-Clear® 40, this rubber has a Shore hardness of 18A and features exceptional tear and tensile strength.
Rubber clarity is especially useful when extracting models via cutting. SORTA-Clear® rubber is ideal for making prototype, jewelry or other molds of any configuration where model visibility is important (i.e. extracting a model from the mold via cutting). Materials such as urethane, epoxy or polyester resins can then be cast into SORTA-Clear® silicone without application of a release agent. Other materials such as wax and low melt metal alloys can also be cast into SORTA-Clear®. SORTA-Clear® can be pigmented with SILC Pig® silicone pigments.

Dragon Skin® FX-Pro
Translucent Silicone Mold Rubber

Dragon Skin® FX-Pro is a soft, stable, high performance platinum silicone rubber specifically designed for creating silicone makeup appliances and skin effects. Dragon Skin® FX-Pro is compatible with Skin-Tite® silicone adhesive as well as medical grade pressure sensitive adhesives for adhering silicone appliances temporarily to the skin. Soft and stretchy FX-Pro has a Shore hardness of 2A. FX-Pro can be combined with SLACKER® deadening agent to create a very soft silicone gel for filling encapsulated silicone pieces. An infinite number of color effects can be achieved by adding Silc-Pig® silicone pigments. Cured rubber can also be painted with the Psycho Paint® system.

Dragon Skin® Series
Addition Cure Silicone Rubber Compounds

Dragon Skin® silicones are high performance platinum cure liquid silicone compounds that are used for a variety of applications
ranging from creating skin effects and other movie special effects to making production molds for casting a variety of materials.
Because of the superior physical properties and flexibility of Dragon Skin® rubbers, they are also used for medical prosthetics and cushioning applications. Great for Making Molds for a Variety of Applications - Available in Shore 10A and 0A, Dragon Skin® silicones can be used to make exceptionally strong and tear resistant molds for casting plaster, wax, concrete, resins and other materials.

Rebound® 25
Brushable Silicone Rubber Compound

Rebound® 25 is an easy-to-use platinum-cure silicone rubber that self-thickens for making brush-on molds of almost any model. Mixed 1A:1B by volume (no scale necessary), Rebound® 25 can be applied with a brush or spatula to vertical surfaces without sagging and will cure with negligible shrinkage to a soft, flexible rubber (Shore 25A).
Advantages Over Urethane Brush-On Rubber: (a) Rebound® 25 will not stick to most surfaces, so surface preparation is minimal, (b) Two liquids that mix easily together, (c) stands up better to production casting of resins and lowtemperature melt metal alloys, (d) cured molds can be removed from a model “like a glove” and (d) has a long library life.

Ecoflex® Series
Super-Soft, Addition Cure Silicone Rubbers

Ecoflex® rubbers are platinum-catalyzed silicones that are versatile and easy to use. Ecoflex® rubbers are mixed 1A:1B by weight or volume and cured at room temperature with negligible shrinkage. Rubber also cures without a “tacky” surface. Low viscosity ensures easy mixing and de-airing, or you can choose to mix and dispense using our convenient dispensing cartridges.
Cured rubber is very soft, very strong and very “stretchy”, stretching many times its original size without tearing and will rebound to its original form without distortion. Ecoflex® rubbers are water white translucent and can be color pigmented with Silc Pig® pigments for creating a variety of color effects. You can also add Smooth-On’s Silicone Thinner® to further lower the viscosity or add Smooth-On’s Thi-Vex® thickening agent for brush-on application.

Equinox™ 35 & 40
Mix & Apply-By-Hand Platinum Mold Putty

Equinox™ Silicone Putty Products are new silicone compounds (platinum catalyst) that can be easily mixed and applied by
hand to a variety of surfaces. Equinox™ Putty is mixed in equal amounts (1A:1B) by volume. Equinox 35 fast putty has a pot
life of about 1 minute with a cure time of about 7 minutes at room temperature (72°F / 22°C). Equinox 40 is a slower version with a 30-minute pot life and 5-hour demold time. Shrinkage is low and cured rubber is exceptionally strong (very high tensile strength), durable and will resist high temperatures (for casting low-temperature melt metal alloys). They also resist cure inhibition.

Body Double™
“Apply-To-Skin” Mold Making Rubber

Body Double™ “Standard Set” and Body Double™ “Fast Set” are long lasting platinum-cure silicone rubbers that can be applied directly to the skin to make molds of the face, hands and other body parts. The rubber cures quickly and will reproduce perfect detail from any original model – far better detail than any alginate!
One Casting or Many . . . For About The Same Price: unlike alginates, which are good for one only casting, Body Double™ will
last for many castings of almost any material including plaster, Matrix Neo, wax, resins (Smooth-Cast urethanes, polyester, etc.),
Low-temperature melt metal alloys, etc. And the amount of Body Double™ used per mold is less than most alginates, so the cost per mold is about the same. Safety: Body Double™ is non-toxic and odorless.
