Alja-Safe®
Crystalline Silica-Free Alginate

Safe to use Alja-Safe® is the world’s first alginate that does not contain crystalline silica (a known carcinogen). Alja-Safe® is
perfect for making single-use molds of the face, hands and other body parts. It captures detail better than other alginates, giving you a more accurate reproduction of your original.
Alja-Safe® is easy to use and cures quickly. It reproduces fine detail and makes an excellent temporary mold – good for one or
two reproductions of any body part. You can then cast plaster, Matrix® NEO® (polymer modified gypsum) or Smooth-Cast® 300Q ultra-fast urethane resin into the mold to make a reproduction.

Alja-Safe® Acrobat®
Fiber Reinforced Alginate

Alja-Safe® Acrobat® is a fiber reinforced “non-sag” version of original Alja-Safe® life casting alginate. Acrobat is thicker and holds vertical surfaces allowing the user better control for making molds of the face, torso, etc. Acrobat® reproduces perfect detail from all body surfaces and is good for making temporary molds that can be used to make highly detailed reproductions cast in wax, plaster, Matrix® NEO® (polymer modified gypsum), platinum cure silicone or Smooth-Cast® 300Q ultra-fast urethane resin.

duoMatrix® –G
Gypsum Enhancer Kit

duoMatrix® –G is a new polymer additive system that greatly enhances the physical properties of alpha gypsum products duoMatrix® -G (Matrix-G® for short) reduces the demold and drying time of gypsum and drastically reduces water permeability making it suitable for both interior and exterior applications (for exterior use, product must be sealed – see “post finishing” section). Matrix®-G has less odor and yields elements that are a brighter white than competing products.

Cement Enhancer

duoMatrix®–C is new polymer additive that enhances the physical and performance properties of cementitious materials such as portland cements and mortars. duo-Matrix-®C (Matrix®-C for short) eliminates the need for the usual 7-day post cure. It drastically reduces water and salt absorption and fills in micro cracks to minimize crack propagation. Other performance characteristics include greatly enhanced freeze/thaw, ultra-violet, and chemical resistance. Higher flexural strength reduces brittleness.
