LATEX RUBBER

Latex Rubber is an ideal product for making three-dimensional skin molds. It is pre-vulcanized natural latex compound that contains about 60% solids, which when cured will have the tough, elastic, flexible properties of vulcanized rubber. Latex rubber can be brushed or sprayed onto the item to be copied.

PETROLEUM JELLY

Petroleum Jelly can be  used for a mold release when taking molds off of human skin use the Algiform as well as for other mold making projects.

GI-1000 SILICONE RUBBER

GI-1000 Silicone Rubber is a two-component, tin catalyzed RTV silicone rubber. It is designed for casting polyurethane foam, polyester, waxes, gypsum, concrete, epoxy and other plastic parts. GI-1000 has an extremely high tear strength, low shrinkage, low viscosity and is not inhibited by most common mold-making substrates, eliminating the need to use mold sealers.

GI ULTRA-FAST CATALYST

GI-Ultra-Fast Catalyst (GI-UFC) has been formulated to dramatically accelerate the speed at which the GI RTV Silicones cure. Standard working times for the GI series rubbers range between one and three hours with demold times between 16 and 24 hours. GI-UFC can give a working rime of 10 minutes and a demold time of 30 minutes.
